enormity n. an outrageous, improper, vicious, or immoral act
Enormity is often used in place of enormousness to mark something in extraordinarily great size, number, or degree, because enormousness sounds like a made up word.

Still, I did not know enormousness was a word. I'm kind of scared now.
Both of those words are great! My words of the day are usually involved in my editing. Unfortunately, neither frisson nor butt-bleep crosses my desk very often!

A funny aside: One obsolete definition for butt means a limit, bound, or goal. Shakespeare used it like this: here is my journey's end, here is my butt.
