screaming

The muscles in my arms and legs are screaming at me today. I went to the gym this morning anyway, thinking I could ignore their protests. I tried and didn't completely fail. But I did cut my workout a bit short.

I'm tired. That is all.

Poor kid! But it's the good kind of pain, right?

I'm planning on starting to work out sometime soon. I've actually started sleeping again, so I feel like I'm getting closer, and Jake found out the code to our weight room, so progress is being made...now just to lose those 40 pounds....AT

40 lbs??? I guess this really isn't anybody I know...Any, your majesty, you should be careful. If you are in actual pain, you probably shouldn't work out strenuously to avoid risk of injury. Missing one day won't set you back too much, but missing a week from tearing a muscle...hope you feel better.

whoops, I said "any" instead of "anyway"...

It wasn't bad screaming, just protest screaming. My muscles felt very tight and very used in a way that's still a bit new to them.

Usually I just stand, pick up an item, and the like without thinking about how my body performs these functions. Yesterday, I FELT my muscles trying to perform these functions. It's a little weird.

Anyway, I'm feeling much less aware of my muscles today.

And you do know the previous poster looking to drop 40lb (though, I must say, 40 is high in my opinion). But the number for me, at the very long end of the road, is a little past that number.

I don't want you people to freak out on me, thinking I've become a weight-obsessed person. OK, maybe I am a little obsessed to get me a little closer to being ready for this wedding. (The bride and I have a major disagreement over my ability to fit into a certain yellow top.) But after that, I'll calm this workout thing down a bit. Yes, I'm impatient by nature, but my love food and laziness is stronger in the end. Don't worry. I won't become a food-deprived over-exerciser.
