time wash

Morning. I wake, rub my eyes, stumble into the bathroom to take a shower. There's something about the rushing water, the enclosed space behind the shower curtain that seems to cut one off from the rest of the world. It's as if time, life is suspended. Then one finally turns off the shower, opens the shower curtain, and realizes that time hasn't stopped. In fact, it's sped forward. Stupid time.

Time is stupid. I agree. I think we should do away with the whole stupid concept.

Ah, but a shower in the morning...I don't think I'm actually awake until I step out of it. And not even then sometimes.

I linked to you from Kat's blog. And even though I am a copy editor, I have not lost respect for you at all. I'm impressed you actually write. If you link to my blog, you will see that I hardly ever post!

I think we may be using the same template for our blogs -- how did you get the "Links" header in the script font? I couldn't figure that out.

Thanks, shel. And three posts in less than two weeks isn't bad. If you go back in my archives, you'll find that I gaps of a week or more.

I'm not well versed in html. But here's how I made that little tweak:

I copied the formatting for one of the other sections (i.e., Archives, Recent Posts) and replaced that text with "Links."

This trick only works because the guy who designed this layout made a graphic of this text as well. I don't know of any other words it will work with. (I only knew it would work with this one because I saw it on someone else's blog.)

Blogger won't allow me to show you the coding here. If you go to "View" and then "Source" on your browser, you'll see the coding for my blog. Go down and find my list of links. The section you want to add is the coding just above my links.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an e-mail (theCallowQueen@gmail.com).

Best of luck with your blog.

That worked. Thanks! You're awesome.

I've been promising Kat some new posts ... we'll see.
